- The applicant is required to be recommended by the President of his/her university.
- The applicant is required to have ability of communicating in Japanese language.
- When and how is the Kobayashi scholarship decided?
- The application notice is sent to the designated universities usually in January every year.
- The applicant should submit the application form to the International Students Office of his/her university to be recommended by the President of the university.
- The university should submit the candidates to the Foundation who were recommended by the President of the university.
- The Selection Committee of the Foundation will scrutinize the application forms and select the candidates.
- The President of the Foundation will make a final decision on the adoption normally in April.
